yesterday. friends say a big part of the event was to help pay for her funeral and then set up a trust fund for her 2-year-old son. a $10,000 reward is offered for information leading to the killer's arrest. >>> this morning, casey anthony is a free woman. but her whereabouts are only known to a few people. she left a florida jail just after midnight sunday after nearly three years behind bars. she had $537 in her pocket. that money was sent by admirers. a jury convicted the 25-year- old of lying to investigators but acquitted her of murdering her 2-year-old daughter. the decision angered many people. for others, her release was simply something to see. >> we just left one of the theme parks and we were on our way home and just stopped in. >> i thought it would be interesting to be able to be in the presence of her to be part of history. >> her lawyers say anthony has received at least one death threat. >>> a tea party-backed plan to raise the nation's debt ceiling is expected to pass in the house tomorrow but stall in the senate. the plan would let the government borrow $2.4 trillion if co

default. august 2 is the big day and president obama is urging compromise in congress. he spoke to the nation last night and he criticized the republicans. >> a significant number of republicans in congress are insisting on a different approach, a cuts only approach, an approach that doesn't ask the wealthiest americans or biggest corporations to contribute anything at all. >> but gop leaders say the president is the one who is refusing to budge. >> the president wanted a plank check six months ago. and he wants a blank check today. this is just not going to happen. >> republicans are pushing to raise the debt limit enough to last for the rest of the year and then a joint committee would tackle a second increase and more spending cuts but mr. obama says he will veto any plans to raise the debt ceiling if it comes in two waves. he supports a plan by majority leader harry reid to raise the limit to 2012. >>> breaking news out of morocco. a state news agency says a c- 130 plane has crashed in a mountainous area there. there are reports that 26 people have been killed, four injured.

or less delays at sfo so no big delays yet. let's check in with more on the weather forecast. here's kristy seifkin. >> good morning. a little bit gray out there this morning. we are seeing a lot of what we saw yesterday in terms of low clouds and some drizzle at the coast. satellite showing that pretty much the coastline, bay and inland spots are all blanketed in fog right now although we will see a little bit of sunshine later on inland. temperatures right now pretty mild and pretty similar. 59 in oakland and fremont, 58 livermore, 59 redwood city, 57 napa. highs for today keeping them well below average, 10 to 15 degrees below where we should be. 73 as a high in fairfield, 56 for pacifica, 73 in santa rosa. extended forecast showing the cool trends over the next several days and then a gradual warmup on the weekend, sunshine there, as well. next week, those temperatures will be closer to where we should be, mid to high 80s inland. >>> we have roadwork to contend with near the bay bridge. first, here's live look at the bay bridge toll plaza. so far, so good, no major snags. the r

see a lot of the damage behind me in this field a big pile of ash that was once a huge stack of plastic crates and you can see off to the side, still some of the plastic crates that are impacted today. this is what was burning creating a show of fire and concerns for air quality. that fire broke out at around 1:00 yesterday afternoon here at macro plastics. check out this video from failed. it's near travis air force base. the fire was huge with thick, black smoke that could be seen for more than 50 miles away. it was shooting 9,000 feet into the air. the fire fueled by plastic produce crates. a worker accidentally lit one on fire and it took off into a five-acre fire. >> any sense of the temperature that this fire reached? >> close to 1,000, maybe 1500. if you go to the side of the complex where the grass is, you will see the poles, the whole metal fences are bent like straw. >> reporter: so it took firefighters about three hours to get that fire under control. but it wasn't completely out until early into this morning actually. firefighters were still concerned about some h

there for an hour. people did continue to talk after he left. i think it was a big venting session for a lot of people and the police did give the message loud and clear that people here are very frustrated but they are going to need to plan their next step very carefully. but greg suhr the police chief says he is intent on upon continuing the communication with the community. so they are going to be having another meeting and we'll let you know when it happens. >> thank you, anne makovec. >>> that police shooting happened in the bayview neighborhood. but tuesday night most of those arrested in this violent march and protest were actually from somewhere else. 43 people were arrested on charges of vandalism or failing to obey a lawful order like getting out of the street. but police say only 17 of them were actually from san francisco and just one from the bayview. >>> we have a developing story out of fairfield this morning. right now police are searching for a dangerous suspect near doral drive. officers say 40-year-old michael austin pulled a gun on his 75-year-old mother when they were --
